碧蘭画廊雅集-Chinese Brushes Party at BiLan Liao Gallery on Nov. 25, 2023

After Thanksgiving on Saturday, some Atlanta artists gathered together in Professor Bilan's gallery.

Browsing through the dozens of large and small oil paintings in the gallery is breathtaking. The past events are rushing towards us, including rightism, hunger, being bullied, criticism, suicide, dropping out of school, and searching for the American dream... Read Bilan's record and feel deeply about this life. Ten people, including painters Li Lin, Zhang Haisong, Yin Chengjun, Yin Guowei, Yao Gang, Li Zhihua, Neal Cross, Qian Yiming, Bilan and her grandson Eddie, collaborated to draw a four-foot-long painting "Han Friends Picture".

Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Candidate, Tuwanda Rush and her husband, an art teacher, and Gwinnett County Sheriff Candidate, Curtis Clemons also came to join our event to have a pleasant exchange with everyone, express their ideas, and help build community. Thanks to Michelle Kang join us as well. Everyone sincerely shared their stories, delicious food, old things and new knowledge, laughter and joy.  

週六感恩節過後，亞特蘭大的一些藝術家聚集在廖碧蘭教授的畫廊裡。

瀏覽畫廊裡數十幅大大小小的油畫，令人嘆為觀止。 往事向我們撲面而來，阶级斗争，反右，飢餓、歧视，批斗，自殺、輟學、追尋美國夢……閱讀碧蘭的記錄，深刻感受這一生。畫家李麟，張海松、尹成軍、尹國偉、姚剛、李志華、尼爾·克羅斯、錢一鳴、廖碧蘭和她的孫子艾迪等十人合作繪製了一幅四英尺長的畫作《寒友圖》 。 李麟寫了一首打油詩：湲湲溪未凍, 红梅已先開, 松竹终年翠, 鸭熊共徘徊.

格溫內特縣高等法院法官候選人圖旺達·拉什(Tuwanda Rush) 和她的藝術老師丈夫、格溫內特縣警長候選人柯蒂斯·克萊蒙斯(Curtis Clemons) 也來到了我們的活動中，與大家進行了愉快的交流，表達了自己的想法，希望幫助建立社區。

大家真誠地分享自己的故事，美味的食物，舊事新知，歡笑。 也感謝冬青、旭陽、Deon、Ken，Edward 等為本次活動的準備和美食。
